The right tooling.
Custom dies for existing machines, application-specific tools and validation of your actual wire, terminal or pipe connection.
Free initial review. No CAD required to start.
Start your project enquiryWhat your project can deliver
A defined technical solution
Agree the connection combinations, machine interface and custom tooling scope.
Evidence for your decision
Development checks or laboratory reports matched to the agreed validation plan.
A product supply quotation
Confirm custom-product quantities, unit prices and delivery terms after engineering review.
Drawing delivery, trial tooling, sample quantities and ownership are specified per project; they are not automatically included.
Three development tiers
Tell us your application and validation needs. IWISS recommends the tier—you do not need to select one before enquiring.
A · Essential
US$1,999Simple customization with a known interface and controlled risk.
Validation: agreed IWISS development checks; customer application validation and written acceptance. No formal laboratory report.
B · Lab-validated
US$3,999Medium-complexity work requiring documented laboratory validation.
Validation: an IWISS or customer laboratory report against the agreed test plan.
C · Third-party validated
USD 5,000+Projects requiring professional third-party testing and a report.
Final fee varies with complexity, laboratory and testing scope. Included test allowance is confirmed in the quotation.
What affects the final quotation?
Complexity and validation needs determine the tier, not die count alone. High-complexity, multi-machine or extensive-prototype projects require a separate quote. Each quote defines deliverables, sample quantities, revision/retest allowance, schedule and exclusions.
Freight, tax, certification and unlisted tests are not automatically included. Tier C itemizes engineering, the included testing allowance and actual laboratory quotation. Excess, added tests or retests require prior written approval; included work is not charged twice.
Four steps, with clear decisions
-
Send your enquiry
Describe the problem and attach available photos or drawings. -
Free review & quote
Resolve gaps, agree scope, samples and acceptance criteria. -
Approve & develop
Pay 50% to release the agreed development work. -
Validate & deliver
Apply the tier's balance trigger and separate product order terms.
Free review covers information, gaps, preliminary feasibility, tier recommendation and a scoped quote. Detailed design, fabrication and physical testing begin only under an approved paid scope.
Payment, acceptance and project timing
When is the remaining 50% due?
| Tier | Defined final-payment trigger |
|---|---|
| A | After agreed IWISS development checks and confirmation records. Tool delivery follows the separate product order terms so the customer can validate and confirm acceptance in writing. Payment does not replace validation; nonconformities follow the correction process. |
| B | After an agreed passing IWISS or customer laboratory report. For customer testing, provide agreed specimens or trial tooling first; shipment, custody and return are defined at kickoff. |
| C | After completed third-party testing and a report meeting agreed criteria. Report issuance alone is not passing acceptance. Failed results require cause/correction review. A test report is not automatically certification. |
For Tier C, itemize engineering, the included test allowance and the actual laboratory quotation. Any excess, added test or retest requires written approval; included work is not charged twice.
Business purchasing without unnecessary back-and-forth
Use a project-specific company-card payment link where enabled, or a formal USD invoice with verified bank instructions. Customers requiring a purchase order or vendor onboarding can approve one project and pay in two stages; a PO is not payment. Never email card details.
The quotation identifies the contracting, invoicing and receiving entity. Timing starts as agreed once information, samples, scope and deposit are ready; laboratory scheduling is stated separately. Coordinate through your assigned IWISS sales and technical representatives.
Design revisions, failed tests and responsibilities
At most ONE in-scope design revision included
Submit one consolidated written change list within the original agreed scope. Later or separately submitted changes are additional. Extra revisions are priced by assessed workload and timing and require written approval before work. A change to materials, machine interface or acceptance criteria needs separate assessment even on the first revision.
IWISS error corrections do not consume the revision allowance or incur customer-change fees. A failed test is not acceptance: record the cause and agree correction/retest responsibilities. Silence is not approval. Agree destructive testing, sample return/disposal, cancellation and intellectual-property terms before work.

Look beyond the size marking
IWISS combines tooling development and manufacturing with pull-force testing, crimp cross-section analysis and dimensional inspection. The agreed test plan defines what is evaluated for your actual connection.

Testing scope and report limits
Test method, standard revision, pass criteria, sample counts and report issuer are agreed before work. Equipment availability does not mean every test is included in every tier. A report is not automatically certification.
Pipe projects require a separate agreed plan for tube lengths, joint counts, medium and pressure conditions. Detailed results apply to the identified combination and agreed scope.
Samples, reference assemblies and laboratory address
Reserve approximately 30 loose terminals plus matching wire per connection combination for planning. A smaller allowance such as 15 sets requires project-specific engineering confirmation. Final quantities and wire lengths follow the sample request; third-party testing follows its approved plan.
If available, also provide actual completed connection or assembly samples for engineering reference. Identify them as reference, normal production or known failure, and keep them separate from loose parts.
Setup, pull tests, separate cross-sections and retests consume specimens. Pipe projects need separate tube lengths, joint counts, medium and pressure conditions. Label samples C1, C2, etc. Do not cut everything or ship before instructions.
