AP-50BI · ratcheting battery-lug crimper
A compact manual option for selected copper and tinned-copper battery lugs in vehicle, generator and auxiliary-power wiring.
- Die sizes
- 8, 6, 4 and 2 AWG
- Crimp form
- Trapezoid profile for compatible tubular copper lugs
- Package
- One AP-50BI crimper
Why choose this configuration?
- Rotating, color-coded dies make the listed size settings easy to identify.
- A full-cycle ratchet and release lever support controlled operation; they do not replace inspection.
Check before ordering: AP-11 is for power contacts and AP-2048 is for ignition terminals. Those options do not inherit the AP-50BI lug range. Match the lug barrel and conductor to the die.

Preparation and inspection
Cut and strip to the lug specification, fully insert the conductor, select the die, complete the cycle and inspect the finished termination.
