AP-11 · 15 / 30 / 45 A power-contact crimper
Crimp compatible modular power contacts for radio, auxiliary-power and equipment wiring.
- 15 A contacts
- 20–16 AWG
- 30 A contacts
- 14–12 AWG
- 45 A contacts
- 10 AWG
Why choose this configuration?
- A built-in positioner holds the contact for crimping.
- A ratcheting mechanism controls the cycle.
Check before ordering: The contact’s nominal amp rating is not a verified current rating for the finished assembly. This tool is not the AP-50BI battery-lug crimper.

Controlled contact positioning
The built-in positioner supports the contact while the ratchet controls the closing cycle. Match the contact size to its marked die cavity before loading the stripped conductor. The release control allows a cycle to be interrupted when repositioning is needed; an interrupted crimp must not be treated as a finished connection.
Typical applications
Suitable modular power-contact work includes radio installations, auxiliary wiring and equipment power leads. The tool forms the contact barrel; it does not determine the cable assembly's current rating. Check conductor size, contact specification, insulation clearance and housing assembly.
Preparation and inspection
Match the exact contact and wire, prepare and position correctly, complete the crimp and inspect before assembling the housing.

Check the exact model, connection type and applicable standard before ordering. A standard referenced in a product description is not, by itself, evidence of third-party certification. Ask us for model-specific documentation if your project requires it.
Design references are not third-party product certifications. Use the model specifications and the fitting or terminal manufacturer's instructions to confirm compatibility.
How manufacturing supports reliability
IWISS manufacturing capabilities include precision machining, heat treatment, assembly and quality inspection, with dimensional measurement and tensile-testing equipment. The inspection method and acceptance criteria depend on the tool and connection application.
