Match the terminal before choosing the crimper
Use the terminal construction and wire specification to select the tool or die.
Before ordering
- Distinguish insulated, non-insulated, heat-shrink, open-barrel and closed-barrel terminals.
- Check the required crimp profile, wire range and any insulation-support requirements.
Is a matching wire gauge enough?
No. Terminal geometry and insulation style also matter. Follow the terminal manufacturer's tooling and inspection instructions.
What should I send for a fit check?
Send the product model, cable or pipe size, connector or fitting part number, and clear photos. Include the intended application so our team can help you identify the appropriate setup.
