About this item
- The tool works for 8,6,4,2,1AWG cable lugs and built-in dies eliminate loose pieces and speed up crimping process.
- This rugged & versatile bench mounted fixed die compression tool is used for crimping non-insulated copper code lugs and connectors.
- Hexagonal crimping is one of the more traditional crimping profiles. It is most frequently used in practice, as it is suitable for both copper and aluminium conductors. With this crimping profile, the single strands are deformed over a large horizontal area.
- Extra long handle for maximum leverage and superior mechanical advantage.
- This compact tool produces a solid mass of copper with every crimp for a secure, low resistance connection.

Are 4 AWG and 4/0 AWG the same?
No. 4/0 AWG is larger than 4 AWG. Read the exact size marking and do not treat slash-zero sizes as ordinary single-digit gauges.
