About this item
The IWISS IWE-2S precision wire stripper is designed for preparing fine solid and stranded conductors from 36–20 AWG (Ø0.12–0.8 mm). Its compact design, automatic wire-size adaptation and adjustable length stop help you make controlled, repeatable strips for detailed electrical and electronics work.
- Made for Fine Conductors: Continuously adjustable stripping range for solid and stranded wires with conductor diameters from Ø0.12 to 0.8 mm (36–20 AWG).
- Automatic Wire-Size Adaptation: The scanning system adapts to the conductor diameter, helping simplify preparation when working with different fine-wire sizes.
- Adjustable 5–45 mm Stripping Length: Set the length stop to suit your connection, helping keep repeated wire preparation consistent.
- Compact and Lightweight: At 112 mm long and 45 g, the tool is easy to handle for detailed tasks and convenient to carry in a tool kit.
- Versatile Wire Preparation: Suitable for fine wires with PVC, Teflon or Kynar insulation. The compact tool can be operated by right- or left-handed users.

How to use
- Check that the conductor diameter is within the tool's stripping range.
- Set the length stop to the required stripping length, between 5 and 45 mm.
- Position the wire and operate the tool to strip the insulation. Check the first prepared wire before repeating the process.
Size selection: The 0.12–0.8 mm range refers to conductor diameter, not conductor cross-sectional area in mm². Check both conductor size and insulation compatibility when selecting your tool.
