Compatibility & Use

Choose the correct wire rope, aluminum sleeve and cavity combination before crimping. The included accessory sizes are listed above and do not cover every cavity size. Stainless-steel thimbles support cable loops; they are not crimp sleeves. Follow the sleeve manufacturer's crimp sequence and inspect the finished assembly before use.

For compatible aluminum sleeves; do not use this tool to crimp stainless-steel swage fittings. Wire rope is not included.

Before you order

Does the 3.5 mm cutting capacity also apply to crimping?

No. Cutting capacity is separate from the listed 1/32–1/8 inch swaging range. Match the rope, sleeve and marked cavity.

Can it crimp stainless-steel railing studs?

No. This tool is for compatible aluminum sleeves. Threaded stainless-steel swage studs require a tool designed for that fitting.
