SN interchangeable-jaw kits: choose around your terminals
For repair benches and electronics work involving several supported contact types. Select a complete kit when you need a handle and its listed jaws, or a die-only option to replace or add a verified compatible jaw.
Die-only options do not include a crimping handle. Read the full option name before adding to cart.
Compare complete-kit contents
| Complete kit | Additional jaws named in the option |
|---|---|
| SN-2549 kit 1 | SN-28B, SN-48B, SN-58B |
| SN-2549 kit 2 | SN-2546B, SN-02C, SN-0325, SN-02WF |
| SN-2549 kit 3 | SN-06WF, SN-16WF, SN-06WFL, SN-11011 |
| SN-2549 kit 4 | SN-025, SN-05B |
Each complete option lists the SN-2549 tool plus the named additional jaws. Jaw codes are not a universal compatibility guarantee: match the contact drawing, conductor size and insulation diameter.
One terminal type or several?
- One known contact: a dedicated, verified crimper can simplify setup.
- Several contact types: select the kit whose named jaws match your actual work.
- Already equipped: buy only the compatible die you lack; do not duplicate included jaws.
Why is wire gauge alone not enough?
Open-barrel contacts, insulated terminals, ferrules and solar contacts use different crimp profiles. Check the terminal specification and die geometry, not just the AWG number.
What should I check after changing jaws?
Confirm mounting and alignment, then make and inspect a sample to the terminal manufacturer’s criteria before assembling the production connector.
Check your setup before ordering
Send the exact tool option, fitting or terminal part number, size and a clear photo to our product-support team. For cable tools, include conductor size and insulation diameter.
Match the terminal, not just the wire gauge
Check the terminal part number, barrel construction, conductor size, insulation support and required crimp geometry. Solid contacts, stamped contacts, ferrules and cable lugs use different tooling. Gauge alone does not establish compatibility.

Preparation and inspection
Identify the terminal and wire; strip to the specified length; position in the matching tooling; complete the operating cycle; inspect and test the first sample before continuing.
Check this configuration before ordering
Send the selected model, component part number, dimensions and a clear application photo to sales@iwiss.com. For a kit, check the supplied-item list; tools or consumables in application images are not automatically included.
