Features:

  • Weather Pack Crimping Tool: IWS-1424BN Metri-Pack and Weather Pack crimper tool aids in the assembly process of the Metri-Pack 150 & 280 and Weather Pack connector lines. The crimpers are designed to crimp the 24-14 AWG terminals and seals found in the Metri-Pack and Weather Pack series.

Design standards & application compatibility

Check the exact model, connection type and applicable standard before ordering. A standard referenced in a product description is not, by itself, evidence of third-party certification. Ask us for model-specific documentation if your project requires it.

Design references are not third-party product certifications. Use the model specifications and the fitting or terminal manufacturer's instructions to confirm compatibility.

How manufacturing supports reliability

IWISS manufacturing capabilities include precision machining, heat treatment, assembly and quality inspection, with dimensional measurement and tensile-testing equipment. The inspection method and acceptance criteria depend on the tool and connection application.

Automotive contact selection

Identify the exact contact style and connector series used in the harness.

Before ordering

  • Distinguish solid contacts from stamped-and-formed contacts; use the appropriate crimping method.
  • Check contact size, wire gauge, insulation diameter and seal requirements separately.
Does a connector-family name guarantee compatibility?

No. Different contacts within a family may require different tooling. Provide the contact part number and wire details for a fit check.

What should I send for a fit check?

Send the product model, cable or pipe size, connector or fitting part number, and clear photos. Include the intended application so our team can help you identify the appropriate setup.
